About

Founded in 1955, we pride ourselves on being "Dirt Diggers" who like to have fun while beautifying many areas. Our members form lifelong friendships while sharing interests and bettering our community and the environment.

History

All Garden Clubs are the cheerleaders for Earth’s health and longevity. Their missions promote conservation and horticulture efforts, preservation of natural resources, comprehension of the complex interactions between plants and animals necessary for our well-being, and connections between members and others through sharing of information. Whether it be the National Garden Clubs, Inc. begun in 1891, the Garden Club of New Jersey begun in 1925, or our Rockaway Valley Garden Club begun in 1955, we are all caretakers of our natural world.

Vision

Our vision is to inspire and promote the love of gardening, stewardship and civic/ environmental responsibility.

Mission

Our mission is to advance gardening interests and knowledge among our members and the public; to participate in civic and beautification projects in local communities; and to participate in activities for the preservation of nature and natural resources.
